Superyacht Crew Monthly Salary Guide (In Euros)
This guide is designed to help you gauge expected superyacht crew salary in the 2017 season, it is based on up to date information received from crew and crew employers.
As with any job, superyacht crew salary can vary from one employer to another and as such it is not a guarantee of income.
On completion of training you would become a new, ‘green’ or junior deck crew member and look for promotion as you get seasons of experience under your belt.
Superyacht crew salary can also vary depending whether the vessel is chartered or private, (see FAQ) on a private vessel you will often receive a higher basic wage whereas on a charter vessel you will often receive tips in addition to your basic salary. These can average €1000 per month over the summer season.
Whether you need to pay income tax on your wages will be effected by the flag under which your superyacht is registered, advice on this will be available from your employer.
